MACINTOSH: Can I import/export Excel files to/from my palm using Addition4Palm on a Mac? If so, how do I do it? [7351]

Yes. Addition has a conduit (AddiCondMac) which hotsync uses to transfer the contents of your palm to the mac (not for OS X, for now) and vice-versa. You can download addition it on our site with macintosh synchronization. The conduit saves the files in wk1 format on a folder inside your users folder of Palm (something like "Macintosh HD:Palm:YOURNAME:Addition4Palm:...) You can open these on Excel or any other spreadsheet. On Excel, you must "save as" wk1 and remember to have the .wk1 extension on the end of the name and files will find their way to the palm on the next hotsync. To install the conduit you should put the file "addicondmac" inside your "Conduits" folder (created by palm destop; this folder already should have other conduits, for memopad, contacts, etc.). To make sure the conduit is installed, open Hotsync Manager and choose "Conduit Setup" menu. It should appear there. If anything is behaving wrong, check the log on Hotsync Manager.
